Ad performance platform S4M raises $8m, gears up to bolster technical team
Performance advertising platform S4M, or Solutions for Mobile, has raised $8m in its Series A funding round, led by Entrepreneurs Venture and Bpifrance. Initially self-funded, S4M has been profitable since it started operating in 2012, and has built up a strong client list including BMW, Levis, and Disney.

The intention is to use the fresh injection of funds to build its mobile performance technology. S4M produces an analytics and programatic mobile demand platform, which manages all aspects of mobile advertising, from media buying to adserving and tracking.
Christophe Collet, CEO and founder of S4M, said:
“We plan to double the technical team, adding data scientists, developers and engineers by the end of 2015, giving S4M an early technological lead. We will also triple our sales team enabling us to grow our presence internationally in particular the UK and U.S.”
The company currently manages more than 1000 campaigns annually for its 150-plus advertising client list, operates from five offices around the world, and is fully expecting its 2015 revenue performance to increase by 150% on that achieved in 2014.
