Myles Kleeger, Chief Revenue Officer, Appboy, says:
“Appboy is committed to growing our presence in the EMEA region, where some of our most strategic customers are based. The opening of our London office will allow us to support our existing customers even more effectively than we do today, while also enabling us to expand further into the region than otherwise would be possible. Dan is the perfect choice to build and lead this team with his tremendous experience across both enterprise IT and marketing, and his deep customer relationships in the EMEA region.”
Head has previously led the digital marketing tech sales division at Salesforce. He brings a wealth of enterprise IT experience to Appboy. Following a EMEA leadership role at Infor, he completed the four-year tenure at Salesforce which included acquisitions of Radian6, Buddy Media as well as ExactTarget.
Appboy says it now counts over 1.6bn unique customer profiles across its global consumer base with 100bn real-time events processed through the platform each month. The company uses this data to power billions of personalised messages each month across push, in-app, in-browser, email, wearables and emerging platforms. EMEA-based clients include Bauer Media, Dailymotion, Delivery Hero among others.
Igor Lubawinski, VP of CRM, Delivery Hero, says:
“Delivery Hero has leveraged Appboy’s robust technology for multi-channel messaging in our apps across more than 20 countries around the globe. Their ability to help us communicate with each individual customer in a culturally relevant way country-by-country has been an incredible value add to our business at every stage of our lifecycle marketing. We are excited about Appboy’s new local presence; this is great news for marketers in the EMEA region.”
