appScatter partners with ironSource to let app developers reach more users

appScatter Group, the business-to-business (‘B2B’) Software as a Service (‘SaaS’) platform that lets clients distribute and manage their apps across various app stores, has just announced a partnership with mobile monetisation platform, ironSource. The move means that ironSource will be incorporating appScatter’s platform for its app developer base.

ironSource provides a successful in-app video advertising network and focuses on technology that enhances the app business for developers.

Over 80,000 apps are now using ironSource’s technology to monetise and the company is already working with top game developers including Kongregate, Playrix, Zynga, Zeptolabs and Big Fish Games.

As part of the collaborative partnership, the companies have agreed to implement a co-marketing initiative to introduce the appScatter platform to ironSource’s large global developer community.

By using appScatter, developers can boost their audience reach by publishing to multiple app stores. The latter is a popular strategy to boost downloads. This may also strengthen app download revenues.

Philip Marcella, CEO of appScatter, said:

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with ironSource and beginning an arrangement that will be commercially advantageous for all concerned. This strategic collaboration is further proof of our commitment to strengthening ties to the app development community and supporting the app economy’s continued growth.”

appScatter is offering ironSource users a 20% discount for the first 12 months of using the platform. In return, appScatter will pay ironSource a 10% commission of net revenues.

“Our goal has always been to help app developers scale their app businesses, so it makes perfect sense to partner with a company like appScatter, which empowers app developers to quickly and easily penetrate new markets, connect to new users and increase revenues. We’re excited to be able to offer this added value to our large developer customer base,” added Yevgeny Peres, VP Growth Developer Solutions at ironSource.
