Among the new features, Apteligent has added Release Control which offers metrics to compare the stability of a new app version to the previous one. It has also added handled exceptions for non-fatal issues, network insights for easier diagnosis of issues and an auto-instrumented user flow to create cohesion across mobile product and development teams by monitoring critical app flow like app load time, screen change and other user retention correlates.

In addition, the update includes automatic breadcrumbs to let app marketers diagnose and solve issues, as well as customised breadcrumbs to reduce coding problems. API access lets developers incorporate app data from Apteligent into other systems.

Dave Robbins, CEO, Apteligent, says:

“We are very excited to be delivering what we know to be the most comprehensive mobile app SDK to the widest possible audience. We’ve incorporated many of the features that have made our Enterprise Edition the SDK of choice for industry-leading app development teams while eliminating volume limits. More importantly, unlike other vendors in this space, user data is kept strictly anonymous and never sold for advertising purposes. Our free version really is free.”

Apteligent adds that flexible crash groupings to support more efficient incident prioritisation and developer workflow will also soon come to the Standard Edition.

In addition, app makers can now identify the specific file that contains a problem, increasing the test scope for files prone to cause issues.
