BlisMedia opens office in Hong Kong in effort to expand internationally
BlisMedia, the location advertising company, has opened an office in Hong Kong as part of its plans to expand internationally. The office will be managed by Managing Director Richard Andrew, who holds 14 years of industry experience at companies including Amobee, Microsoft and Yahoo. He’ll be overseeing the business development and introduce the Blis’ location data advertising technology to local media agencies. BlisMedia’s Platform analyses data in real-time, helping advertisers to better understand their audiences.
Harry Dewhirst, President, BlisMedia, says:
“Hong Kong is a strategic choice for Blis’ international expansion roadmap, and our market entry is bolstered by the addition of Richard, one of the top media experts in the region. Establishing operations in Hong Kong, the region’s major media and commercial hub, ensures we are well positioned to engage top media agencies to strategize, execute and provide in-depth consultation for on-ground campaigns.”
Established in 2004 in the UK, BlisMedia currently works with over 400 global brands across leading industries, including P&G, Unilever, Audi, Samsung, Spotify and Standard Chartered Bank. Richard Andrew, MD, BlisMedia, says:
“I’m thrilled to join Blis at a time when the firm is poised for international growth and expansion. Backed by market-leading products and highly accurate data sets, Blis is well placed to offer regional media agencies, trading desks and data partners the best services to grow their businesses and reach the best audiences at scale.”
