David Kelly is Executive Director of North America for Avazu, where he will oversee the operations of Los Angeles and Toronto. Prior to joining Avazu he spearheaded sales and business development for WhatRunsWhere as their VP since 2012. He earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
David, congratulations on joining Avazu – what are you going to be focused on in your new role?
Thank you! My focus in the new role at Avazu will be growing the brand and presence of Avazu in the North American Market. With offices open in Los Angeles and Toronto we’ll be able to grow rapidly and reach our target partners and clients.
What made you decide to join the team at Avazu?
Avazu has a great brand and reputation in Europe and Asia, partnered with a strong team and great technology, the opportunity to lead the North American team was impossible to turn down.
What types of clients are you looking to work with in the North American market?
Our North American team will be looking to partner with Brands, Media Agencies and performance advertisers/affiliates, looking to take advantage of our various technologies.
What do you think Avazu brings to the table for US and Canadian publishers and advertisers?
Avazu brings to the table a strong team of international professionals, with years of experience in the performance marketing space. Our global presence, makes us an attractive partner for advertisers attempting to enter foreign markets.
What are the big trends you see in the mobile advertising market for 2016?
The big trends that we see in the mobile advertising market for 2016 will be hyper local targeting, and the further development of native and video ads.
