Fetch, the mobile-first agency which is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, has officially opened its LA office following business growth at the New York and San Francisco offices and adding notable clients such as Travelocity, GSN Games and Yelp to its roster. Now, the company has announced the hire of Ruairi McGuckin to head the new office as Managing Partner, West Coast.

McGuckin will be managing accounts for the company’s LA based roster, including Hulu. He reports to Guillaume Lelait, EVP, US Managing Director, Fetch, who says:

Our expansion into LA also speaks our move towards delivering mobile-first strategies to the growing entertainment economy coming out of that region and we believe Ruairi’s experience will allow us to tap into this and many other facets of the market to further enhance overall North American offering.”
McGuckin who comes from Criteo where he headed account strategy for Mobile led a team supporting over 30 accounts and has experience working with established brands such as Expedia, Walmart, Netshoes and Blizzard Games. He also pioneered Criteo’s Mobile Partner Program, which aims to make onboarding a faster process for advertisers.
At Fetch, he’ll be focused on expanding the agency’s West Coast presence into new verticals and develop a local market strategy.

Fetch recently announced a series of hires across its US offices to drive growth. Among them are the appointment of Octavio Maron as US Executive Creative Director, who joins Fetch from Pontomobi. Joshua Niederriter is the new Head of Programmatic to ensure ads are working effectively for all clients, and Natalie Robinson has been appointed Account Director, New York.
