Glispa, the mobile marketing company, just announced the launch of a new office in Singapore on the back of positive traction of its ad tech marketing in Southeast Asia. The company said it’s also become a dominant player in Indonesia’s mCommerce market. Former Google executive and mobile marketing veteran Christian Nguyen will be joining the office as General Manager.

Glispa, which has a presence in Southeast Asia since 2013 and an office in Beijing, plans to grow rapidly in the quickly expanding mobile ad environment in the area.
The company is based out of headquarters in Berlin and has been running its SEA operations from there, but as the opportunities have grown, it has now decided to open the Singapore office. Some of the major companies using Glispa in SEA include Bukalapak, Traveloka, Lazada, Shopee, GrabTaxi, Matahari Mall and Gumi.
It says that originally the SEA market has been focused on volume app installs, but has since progressed to focus on mobile user quality and ROI.
Christian Nguyen joins the company with a good knowledge of the mobile marketing industry in the SEA region. He’s been successfully navigating between mature markets like Singapore, fast growth mCommerce markets such as Indonesia and emerging markets like Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. He adds extensive ad tech and market growth experience.
