According to a recent study from Localytics, app user churn rates are as high as 75% during the first three months upon downloading an app. Now, the app marketing and analytics platform has unveiled its new Localytics Predictions to help marketers predict and influence users at each stage during the app lifecycle. The predictive app marketing solution analyses user behaviour, customer segments and generates deep insights to help advertisers re-engage app users across various channels and help keep churn rates to a minimum.

The new tool lets marketers auto segment their app users into those with high, medium and low likelyhood to churn. Predictions are based on consumer behaviour and characteristics. As part of the Localytics platform, clients are able to act on predictions through personalised email, push notifications, in-app messaging and remarketing campaigns.
Localytics client football platform, Onefootball, used Predictions to spot users likely to churn and used this data to achieve a 7.5% reduction in churn.
The company has already mentioned plans to expand Localytics Predictions to include upsells, onboarding and content personlisation.
