Madhouse promotes senior management staff to bolster mobile advertising product expansion
Shanghai-headquartered mobile advertising company, Madhouse, has promoted two of its senior management team members, as part of the company’s growth strategy.

Charlie Ruan will be stepping up to President to help develop the firm’s business and sales. Wendy Wang now serves as VP across the brand and oversees the company’s worldwide developments.
Charlie joined Madhouse in April 2007 as VP of Business Development. Since then, he’s gained a solid understanding of the mobile marketing industry and led Madhouse revenue in terms of brand advertising. He achieved double-digit growth year-on-year. One of his greatest achievements at Madhouse is the expansion of the company’s business structure to serve both brand advertisers but also app developers in global markets.
When Wendy first arrived at Madhouse in July 2006, she oversaw the marketing and communication department, helping to form the firm’s marketing team and build its image within the industry. She also brings good knowledge of the mobile marketing business in China, having led a series of projects, art, design and solutions teams.
Both will report to CEO Joshua Maa, who says:
“Charlie and Wendy joined Madhouse in a very early phase and have become the company’s core management members since then. They’ve grown with Madhouse and become excellent leaders, with great contributions to business development and marketing. I believe that in the future, they will continue to lead their team and make more achievements for the company.”
Madhouse mobile products include data-driven programmatic features as well as tools for mobile app marketers to monetise their products in an ever-expanding market. The company currently has 240 employees across seven offices in China, Taiwan and India.
