Mobile ad network RevMob announced the appointment of Marcelo Ferreira as Co-CEO. Ferreira will be overseeing the everyday operations at RevMob, as well as the company’s business development and global expansion. He joins Pedro Jahara, current CEO of RevMob, in sharing the management duties.
Marcelo Ferreira is the new Co-CEO at RevMob
Ferreira joins RevMob after three years as CEO at hellofood Brazil, part of the foodpanda group, funded by Rocket Internet. He co-founded the Brazilian-based company and expanded the business to 120 employees. He says:
“With my previous business experience, I am looking forward to leading RevMob to new heights in service, technology and new customer acquisition. RevMob has a highly talented and motivated team, and I believe we offer a value proposition to the mobile advertising market place that is second to none.”
Prior to hellofood, he held positions as analyst for A.T. Kearney, providing strategic planning and cost control, as well as strategic planning manager at TNT Express. Pedro Jahara, CEO, RevMob, says:
