Marchex announces expansion of senior leadership team
Forbes joins Marchex from cloud-based software platform, AppNexus, where she led the EMEA sales team. Prior to AppNexus, she served as COO at Brainient, a tech company that provides interactive video advertising and retargeting. In her new role at Marchex, she’ll be managing a growing demand for the company’s Call Analytics platform, which offers next-gen call analytics capabilities that weren’t previously available to marketers in the UK.
More specifically, Marchex Call Analytics for Search, provides 100% real-time attribution for phone calls from mobile search. These calls are then analysed with Marchex Call DNA which arranges calls by map, classification and gives them a score.

Marchex clients come from a wide variety of industries, including automotive, financial services, hospitality as well as directory services.
Carman most recently held the position of Vice President, Enterprise Sales at marketing automation platform Kenshoo where he managed over $5bn in annual ad spend for global brands. He joins Marchex with over 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales and account management and will be leading the company’s enterprise sales team. Prior to Kenshoo, he held positions at QlikTech and Oracle.
