Marketo, which provides engagement marketing solutions, and mobile marketer Vibes have announced a jointly built mobile marketing automation solution that lets marketers add mobile channels to their automated campaigns. Through the partnership marketers can pimp up their existing campaigns with text messaging, mobile wallet marketing and wallet advertising. This allows them to reach more consumers on mobile devices.
Marketo partners with Vibes for new mobile marketing automation solution
Mike Stocker, Senior Director, Product Solutions & Innovation, Marketo, says:
“Marketo clients are hungry to amplify their mobile marketing in order to build stronger relationships with their customers. By integrating Marketo’s best-in-class marketing automation platform with Vibes’ best-in-class mobile marketing, we’ve created a solution that empowers marketers to reach consumers on their device of choice with both speed and personalization.”
The partnership builds on Vibes’ integration as part of Marketo’s LaunchPoint ecosystem, a third-party marketing solutions, which has expanded to include 550 apps and services in just three years.
Their latest integration means that advertisers can use text messages (SMS and MMS) as part of a Marketo marketing campaign and empower consumers to choose their preferred method of communication. In addition, mobile wallet content can be added to a campaign which allows consumers to pay for offers instantly and add loyalty cards to their wallets. Indeed, the expansion incorporates mobile wallets as a post-click destination for digital ad campaigns.
Donna Pahel, VP of digital marketing, General Growth Properties, an American real estate investment trust, adds:
“General Growth Properties has been able to transform the shopping experience at our 120 world-class malls to delight consumers at every step of their shopping journey. Today’s consumers expect brands to cater to their needs in a real-time, relevant way across screens. Marketo and Vibes’ automated end-to-end solution will help GGP meet our shoppers’ expectations and execute personalized marketing campaigns at scale across both web and mobile channels.”
With over 30bn mobile moments each day in the US, marketers need to deliver mobile moments which are highly personalised and meet demand.
Jack Philbin, Co-founder and CEO, Vibes, adds:
“In many ways, communication on mobile devices is all about speed, convenience and ease of use, so it’s only natural that mobile is coming to marketing automation. The most effective marketing is tailored to meet the needs of the end recipient, and more and more frequently we’re seeing that consumers prefer mobile. Combining the power of mobile with the automation technology of Marketo will unlock a solution that benefits both consumers and marketers alike.”
Vibes will be joining Marketo’s Marketing Nation Summit in Las Vegas on May 9–12, 2016.
