MediaBrix hires Rocco Smeriglio
Magali Merat, Senior Vice President of National Sales, MediaBrix, says:
“The Midwest is the seat of many of the country’s leading brands across a wide range of industries, so there’s a great need for an effective, forward-thinking approach to digital advertising in the region. With Rocco’s talent, dedication and deep roots in the area, MediaBrix is in an excellent position to bring our mission of emotional brand connections to the region.”
For the last 20 years, Smeriglio has focused on digital marketing and sales within the Midwest market. He served as Senior Account Executive at Apple to roll out key products and drive revenue growth. As Marketing Solutions Director at Facebook, he consulted with Fortune 500 companies on using Facebook’s marketing solutions.
Rocco Smeriglio adds:
“I truly love working in this industry, and in my 18 years doing so, I haven’t come across a solution that matches MediaBrix’s approach. The consumer’s state of mind when receiving messages is often overlooked, and MediaBrix provides that emotional context and connection like no one else. I look forward to bringing that mission to the Midwest and supporting the growth of our clients there, with the help of the best sales team in the industry.”
The announcement follows a series of additions to the MediaBrix talent pool. The company has been driving an international expansion in 2015 and attracted hires from top industry talent from Fortune 500 companies, most recently Christopher Beach, Josiah Klebaner and Brian Fields.
