Mobile advertising company for in-app video ads, Vungle, has announced the release of its software developer kit (SDK) for Amazon Fire tablets. In collaboration with Amazon’s Appstore, Vungle will be launching its user acquisition and monetisation platform for Fire tablets
Zain Jaffer, CEO at Vungle, explained that fire tablets have been rapidly growing in adoption presenting a valuable opportunity for advertisers to reach a new audience. Indeed, the Amazon devices increased adoption by 1,200% over the last 12 months since 2016, according to IDC research.
“We have made a strategic investment in our support for the Amazon Appstore, and Vungle is the first video performance marketing platform that developers can use to monetize their apps across all major app operating systems: Fire OS, Android, iOS and Windows. This support provides publishers and advertisers the ability to reach consumers with highly relevant, targeted video advertising on almost any device, anywhere in the world.”
The new Vungle SDK will officially roll out for the Amazon Appstore in September, but developers can already sign up for early access here.
