Yahoo Advertising research recently found that mobile video views increased 55% this year, compared to just 34% on desktops. As part of its The Migration to Mobile Video study, the company found that millennials in particular have a positive attitude towards mobile video. Almost all of them (95%) watch videos on their mobile devices weekly. 80% said they preferred the convenience of mobile. In addition, the research highlights that cross-device ad exposure drove brand favourability (up 250%) and awareness (up 100%) significantly. Combining PC and mobile ads generated 2.5x more favourability compared to PC alone.
