Taptica continues global expansion – opens office in Russia and India
Taptica has officially launched global presences in Mumbai, India and St. Petersburg, Russia.
The mobile advertising technology company announced Rajesh Fatnani as the General Manager for India and Southeast Asia. Fatnani brings on board over 13 years of sales and business development experience for large names such as Tyroo Technologies, Komli Media, Vserv. He’ll be overseeing the company’s development across India.
“India is in a unique spot because we’re rapidly moving towards a totally-mobile economy. There’s considerable consolidation and growth occurring in verticals like eCommerce and travel, meanwhile utilities like mobile wallets are quickly becoming the everyday norm. This positions Taptica in a great space at a great time to help advertisers make the most of this shift.”
In addition, Dmitry Goldshtein, joins Taptica as Director of Business Development in Russia and Eastern Europe. He’s got a solid record of technology sales and almost 15 years of in-depth experience with Opera Software, RIT Service, Pontis, Flash Networks, FTS, and more.
“Russia is a completely new playing field, different from any other Western or Eastern market. If there’s any comparison to be drawn, I’d say it looks similar to the mobile market in the US about 5 years ago. This means that there’s significant room for growth and expansion, and things are really on the upswing across the region as a whole.”
