Outstream video advertising and monetization platform Teads has announced Tood Tran will join the company as global SVP of programmatic and mobile. He has worked in the mobile and digital advertising industry for 14 years, most recently for Millennial Media as MD of International, and prior to that for Apple as EMEA GM for iAd.
Tran will be based in the London office, and will be in charge of the supply-side platform, exchange, and mobile video advertising inventory.
Commenting on his new role, Todd Tran said:

Teads wants to capitalize on the growing interest in video advertising campaigns, quoting an eMarketer report which states spend on programmatic video in the U.S. will triple from $700m by the end of this year alone. The company invented the first outstream video format, InRead Mobile, which puts video ads in content, whether it’s on mobile, in an app, or on the desktop.
