Creative management platform, PaperG, today announced that it has changed its name to Thunder with immediate effect. In addition, it rolled out PowerPlus for Facebook, a solution for marketers to build and manage creative content for social media.
PaperG rebrands to Thunder
Victor Wong, CEO, Thunder, explains:
“Thunder is a much more descriptive and powerful name that reflects how our design is intended for a ‘post-Flash’ world, in which it no longer makes sense to create one ad for one audience and screen. Our new brand will underscore our vision of enabling more effective, seamless and relevant messaging to multiple audiences across all channels, from the cloud.”
The company will be promoting the rebranding and PowerPlus solution at the Digiday Brand Summit event. It also mentioned plans to launch other audience engaging marketing capabilities this year.
Facebook is already one of the most effective social media channels for advertisers. However, creating large volume creatives is still a difficult process.
Using PowerPlus, marketers with little to no design or technical know-how get to easily create Facebook ads from the Thunder Creative Management Platform. It further allows advertisers to fully optimise their campaigns for greater audience reach and targeting.
Rob Lennon, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Thunder, adds:
“It’s no secret that compelling creative is the key for driving performance on Facebook, but with the tools currently on the market you’re basically designing art with a spreadsheet. It’s not a creative process. This new capability gives marketers an elegant, scalable way to create ads in social in the same way they already build out display ads on Thunder’s platform, truly closing the loop on creative production for social.”
