Sizmek receives Media Rating Council accreditation for measurement of mobile ad impressions
Open ad management company for omni-channel campaigns, Sizmek, yesterday announced that it has received certification from the Media Rating Council (MRC) for its measurement of ad impressions and clicks on mobile web and apps. The MRC accreditation covers display, rich media and video ad formats and builds upon ad delivery and viewability on desktop. Sizmek says it is now the only company offering a measurement-accredited ad serving functionality.

Effectively, the MRC accreditation confirms that Sizmek measurements through its MDX platform, conform to requirements established by the IAB/MMA/MRC Guidelines for mobile web and in-app served ad impression measurement. Based on client-initiated measurement, Sizmek’s counting methodology focusses on valid ad impressions on mobile devices. The company counts ads when delivered to a user’s devices.
