Mobile ad platform Smaato has just announced the hire of ex-Glispa Global Group CPO Freddy Friedman as its new Chief Product Officer. Friedman will be managing Smaato’s global products and ad tech strategy. He reports to Ragnar Kruse, Smaato’s CEO, who commented:

Friedman brings on board over 15 years of product management experience within digital and mobile industries. Prior to Smaato, he held positions at Glispa in Berlin and served as Senior Product Director at Amobee.
At Smaato, which delivers more than 19 billion daily ad impressions globally to reach approximately 50% of the world’s smartphones users, he’ll be putting his ad technology expertise to good use around app development, big data and digital media to scale the company globally.
