Snapchat seems to have rolled out a new ad format which lets brands push branded articles in Snapchat’s vertical videos 3V ad format.

AT&T has been trialling the new format. It featured in BuzzFeed’s Discover channel on Snapchat. The ad lets users swipe up from the video to view a listicle of Gifs – an online article in bullet-point list.
For brand advertisers who aim to promote their content for a longer duration, the new format could be the perfect solution.
Snapchat has been busy expanding its advertising offering, including rolling out longer video ads. The company also expects to generate around $350m in ad revenue this year.
