Mobile ad and app monetisation platform, Tapjoy, just announced a collaboration with LINE Corporation, the messenger app maker, to utilise Tapjoy’s Interplay ads across the LINE messenger app. The deal will focus on rewarded ads across over 200 countries.

LINE’s mobile app, which offers free one-to-one and group messaging, voice and video calls, currently has over 220m active users. Through the partnership with Tapjoy, LINE users can earn LINE Points for free by becoming engaged with ads. Such Points can then be used in exchange for premium in-app stickers, themes and other content to make chatting more fun.
