Vungle, the in-app video advertising platform, has just partnered up with mobile instant messaging app Kakao to develop new ads for the Kakao Game Ad+ Service. The latter is a new way for Kakao to generate in-game ad revenue.
Vungle will be lending its technology to enable Kakao to engage with active customer segments who are most likely to install an app. In addition, it will develop new video ads and interactive end cards to maximize conversions and identify the right publishers for their consumers.
Kakao Game Ad + Service
Rewarded in-app video ads have been proven rather popular as they tend to boost engagement and the acquisition of lifetime value users. App developers can now apply the Ad+ SDK to their games to monetise.
Zain Jaffer, CEO of Vungle, explains:
“In-app advertising presents a huge opportunity for mobile apps today, and we’re thrilled to partner with Kakao to support its new endeavor. We look forward to helping Kakao drive high-value installs-users who are more engaged and likely to spend with the publisher-and optimise those ads and creatives to ultimately grow their revenue.”
Vungle analysis provides the necessary insight into mobile device usage patterns for more personalised ads. Indeed, its video ad platform has been used by large brands such as Google, P&G and Coca Cola.
Developers can also consult Vungle Creative Labs for expertise from mobile video experts.
Kate Park, Manager Game Business Team, Kakao, adds:
“We’re always exploring new revenue opportunities for our game partners. By working with Vungle to create mobile game-customised advertisement platforms, we’re providing our partners a premium way to grow their businesses.”
