Tiles allows brands to create more engaging campaigns through stories that specifically cater to mobile devices. When a consumer clicks on a mobile ad, they’re taken through to a custom mobile landing page that can feature 360-degree video and images and interactive functions such as swipeable shots and social feeds.
Yahoo says that this makes for a more immersive consumer experience.
The feature is now available in India through Yahoo Gemini and BrightRoll. It works on both Android and iOS devices. The platform offers access to over 600m mobile users. Brands can also engage Yahoo’s creative and tech teams for support.
Tiles has been around for a few months now and early adoption has proven successful. One QSR advertiser noted a 4x lift in user engagement for an experience that let users swipe through multiple flavours of their product. In another case, a CPG brand created a 360-degree dining experience and noted a 5x lift in time-earned, or the average time a consumer spent viewing and interacting with the advert.
