Zonetail, a free mobile app and platform for the hospitality industry, has announced a partnership with mobile software provider, Smith Micro, to deploy its NetWise Captivate solution to enhance Zonetail’s apps, helping hotels connect their amenities more easily to their guests.
Smith Micro’s NetWise Captivate collects and analyses foot traffic data for hospitality businesses
NetWise Captivate will help to collect and analyse foot traffic in real-time to help hospitality businesses predict their consumer profiles and gain a better understanding of consumer intent through Zonetail’s mobile platform.

Insights gained through NetWise Captivate help hotels provide customised mobile notifications, including offers and virtual assistance, to its guests. Engagement remains consistent over time, following a booking and throughout a consumer’s visit. Hoteliers can also prompt guests to leave feedback through a mobile survey.

Zonetail plans to deploy NetWise Captivate during Q2 2016 to a select group of hotel and condo properties. Following initial trials, it will roll out the technology further throughout the year.
