MobFox is a mobile advertising network that operates across  iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and mobile websites. Mobfox is getting a lot of great reviews in the mobile community and is well worth checking out.  They provide a number of innovative features including:

  • eCPM control – publishers can determine what level of revenue per thousand they are willing to sell their advertising for, shutting out low value advertising
  • App Boost – a guarantee of reaching a top 25 position in the appstore
  • Mobfox direct – the ability to sell advertising on your app or site directly – and retain 100% of the revenue
  • Backfill – integration of your admob or other network accounts into mobfox as backfill – basically acting as an ad server

Mobfox is great for both buyers and sellers of mobile advertising. For buyers they have some nice features like being able to block specific sites yourself. Other networks like Jumptap require an account manager to do this (and only if you are spending $1000s a month). For mobile app developers and publishers mobfox is also a good option as you can use their ad server to run in-house ads, cross promotion ads and mediate other ad networks. The net 60 payout isn't great but you can't have everything!
