YOOSE bills itself as a ‘hyper-local mobile ad network’ and uses GPS and celltower triangulation to allow consumers to receive location-based offers and messages from businesses nearby. Publishers and advertisers working with YOOSE therefore get to benefit from potentially higher CTRs, as consumers are delivered coupons and advertisements related to their immediate surroundings. The network’s mobile ads and coupons are delivered to consumers as a no-cost, non-invasive, opt-in service.
