Appboy is an app marketing automation platform that’s designed to help developers and marketers retain and engage their users. The Appboy platform uses marketing tools such as push notifications, in-app messages, emails and user feedback to take action on behavioural user data. Clients can create user profiles, manage users with segmentation and leverage analytics on their app’s key metrics. Appboy offers a free version for apps that have up to 1,000 active users. The ‘Basic’ subscription plan (up to 10,000 users) cost $100 per month. Appboy is based in New York and is used by brands such as Urban Outfitters, GSN and Pic Stich among others.
